Tiffany Joy Basse founded Thrive Media in 2004. She wrote 11 treatments for TV shows, produced and directed 5 TV pilots with a staff of 50. She built an uplifting life affirming brand that she sold to Viacom in 2007. It was the first time anyone created an idea for a positive TV channel. In 2009 Disney launched the LiveWell Network 5 years after Thrive Media was founded and in 2011 Oprah launched the OWN Network.
